Splendor Under Glass November 20, 2007

Filed under: Uncategorized — theeventcompany @ 4:21 pm

The Event Company would like to thank all those involved with the Splendor Under Glass event held at and to support the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden in Richmond, Virginia for creating a wonderful event. The Event Company installed a series of lime green panels throughout the dinner tent which highlighted the handmade moss wreaths created by committee members. The dancefloor was set under a custom grid of silver christmas trees that hung throughout the air and threw a pattern onto the dancefloor. The AV Company joined us to create the lighting in all of the guest areas throughout the night.  See some images from our event!

Kmart.com

The Event Company would like to thank Malone Advertising of Ohio for selecting us to plan the events surrounding the Grand Re-Opening of the Charlottesville K-mart store.  Events were held at the store on November 8th and 9th to thank Kmart’s employees, the renovation team and their customers.  Guests were greeted by a huge balloon arch, a red carpet and tables decorated with red & white linens and flowers to represent the company’s colors.  Guests enjoyed hors d’ oeuvres and K-mart red punch while listening to great music provided by The Jangling Reinharts and Eve Watters, a local harpist.  The company also treated their employees to family photos, massages and door prizes.  The store was recently renovated and looks great! If you haven’t been, check it out!

Paddock Party to support Montpelier a success! November 6, 2007

Filed under: Uncategorized — theeventcompany @ 8:36 pm

The Event Company is pleased to report that the Friday, November 2nd Paddock Party to support Montpelier was a huge success. Wonderful food and drinks were offered by The X Lounge catering,  and in addition an oyster roast was donated by a local generous donor.  Music from Matt Wilner filled the air through cocktails,  and then the band played a dance set late into the night.  Maxjet generously offered 2 round trip tickets to London to the winner of the highly competitive group of guests that bought into the “mock” horse race that was offered later on in the evening.  What a great way to begin a weekend of racing!
