Party for Hope! 1.20.09 January 13, 2009

Many of you know that we have a relationship with the X lounge, a restaurant & lounge located in downtown Charlottesville.  We book & plan their group events and also work with them to plan and promote special parties throughout the year.  Next up on the calendar is their Presidential Inauguration Party on Tuesday, January 20th.   They are planning a Bail Out Dinner followed by a Party for Hope- see details below.  The AV Company will provide screens throughout the space which will show footage of the Inauguration itself as well as Pod Casts from the Inaugural Balls in DC.  We hope to see you there! Eric & Lora 12.28.08 January 13, 2009

We finished up the 2008 season with Lora & Eric’s wedding at Trinity Church & Clifton here in Charlottesville on 12.28.08.  It was a pleasure to be a part of Eric’s wedding as we typically see him behind the camera at our events shooting photos for Eric Kelley Photography.  Lora was a pleasure as well…a beautiful person and so excited about their big day!  

Their wedding weekend doubled as a family reunion for both families so they took over Clifton for the entire weekend.  On Friday, guests were welcomed to Charlottesville at Para Coffee, a shop on the UVA corner owned by the couple and a rehearsal dinner was held at Farmington Country Club on Saturday night. 

This was a very special wedding for Bill and Anne at Holland Photo Arts as Eric is a longtime friend and former associate shooter and they couldn’t have described the weekend better on their BLOG.  We would also like to think them for the beautiful photos shown below.

Ali & Matt’s October Wedding featured in Bride’s Magazine January 9, 2009

Congrats to Ali and Matt on having their October wedding featured in the Spring/Summer 2009 issue of Bride’s Washington Edition! Definitely one of our favorite events from 2008! We can’t forget to thank The AV Company for all the lighting and decor throughout the tents and barn, as well as the furniture used to create our sleek lounge!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bridal Show at The Stonewall Jackson Hotel January 9, 2009

 

This Sunday, January 11th, the event company will be participating in a bridal showcase at the Stonewall Jackson Hotel in Staunton, VA.  It is a beautiful hotel located in the heart of downtown Staunton that was originally opened in 1924.  It was completely renovated and opened again in 2005.  Our favorite- the original Colonnade ballroom featuring the hotel’s original chandeliers. It is a beautiful setting for a wedding!
