Jenn & Matt were married on October 17th at Ash Lawn-Highland in Charlottesville. Jenn has amazing style and we loved working with her ‘technicolor Autumn’ decor scheme. We just received these awesome photos taken by Jen Curtis and coudn’t wait to share! Thank you to Pat’s Floral Designs, Hot Cakes, The AV Company, Cakes Unlimited, The Dickens and most of all to Jenn & Matt for including us in their big day!
We love working at Veritas, and were thrilled when Lisa and Yen brought us on board to work with them on their August wedding. Lisa and Yen had a specific vision for their wedding weekend, and covered every detail of their event from the custom paper goods through to the design of the event. We loved how guests were taken from the perfect Virginia setting of the vineyard backdrop during the ceremony to the transformation of the ballroom!

Alison and Brett chose the UVA Chapel to host their wedding ceremony, followed by cocktails, dinner and dancing at Farmington Country Club. Although the day turned out to be a bit chilly, the rain held off!

Thanks to the wonderful team and committee who worked with us on the Montpelier Paddock Party Gala to benefit the Montpelier Steeplechase and Equestrian Foundation.
The evening was a great success hosted at the Visitor’s Center site with the sounds of the Michael Carney Orchestra, lighting by The AV Company and planning/catering by The Event Company.
Our friends at Caspari did an amazing job producing the invitations, sponsorship/auction materials and menu cards. They also worked with us to supply all of the decor for the evening’s tables which offered guests a zebra theme that matched the rug from Mrs. DuPont’s Red Room!

This October we worked on a wonderful fall wedding where we used chalk boards to present the buffet menu to guests. The menu chalk boards looked so great I began looking for other inventive ways to make use of this creative option. Some great ideas are below to bring chalkboards to your next party!
