Its a cold, rainy day here in Charlottesville, but in our office we are definitely feeling sunny and bright! Why are we so warm you ask? Well today one of our 2011 couples has been featured on Style Me Pretty…..and who wouldn’t want to feature this event? When we work with amazing vendors like Clifton Inn, Pats Floral Design and our sister company the AV Company, this wedding was meant to be a success! Being a UVA graduate, I love it when we have events on grounds. (For those who are not familiar with that term, UVA students refer to the campus as “the grounds.”) I do love re-living the Wahoo memories. A Guestbook Idea to Leave your Mouth Watering…

Couples are always looking for creative ideas for make their wedding unique. In May we provided day of planning for Jessica and Ed, and I couldn’t help but notice their tasty guestbook. Rather than the usual coffee table book in which guest sign their favorite picture, Jessica picked out a couple’s cookbook. This particular one was titled Bride and Groom Cookbook: Recipies for Cooking Together. Guests were asked to leave a heartfelt note on the page of their favorite dish. I was so hungry after flipping through the recipies and finally decided to sign on the BBQ shrimp skewers page..my spring and summer favorite. Here are a few pictures of thier event to share. Kelly and Hendrick’s Engagement Session

We have the best relationships with all of our clients, but every now and then a couple comes along that you just fall in love with at the very first meeting. That’s how I feel about Kelly and Hendrick. The Northern Virginia couple is getting married this July at the beautiful UVA Chapel with a reception at the gorgeous Clifton Inn. We have been working with them for months now, and I cannot wait for their very special day. Last week they traveled down Rt 29 in search of unique locations to take their engagement photos. Led by the oh so talented Tammy and Jason, from Jason Keffer Photography, they walked away with some amazing…and playful photos! Here are a few of Tammy’s favorites!

Corinne and Alex featured on Style Me Pretty

We are delighted to be working with Corinne and Alex, a now northern couple with southern roots that will host their special day at the beautiful King Family Vineyards this upcoming July. This spectacular NYC couple recently had a wonderful engagement photo session with Trent Bailey. Their creative use of props was the styling work of Rock Paper Scissors Events also located in New York City. The photo session created such a buzz that they have already been featured on the Style Me Pretty’s “Hot Off the Press” blog. You can check out the Style me Pretty posting here.
